Occupational Therapy

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy helps individuals of all ages develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and meaningful activities. Students learn to assess physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, designing personalized interventions that promote independence and improve quality of life.

Combining healthcare, psychology, and rehabilitation science, OT empowers people to overcome barriers caused by injury, illness, or disability. Graduates can work in hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, or community settings, making a lasting difference in patients’ everyday lives.

“An occupational therapist helped me get back to normal life, so now I can shop and do things around the house because before I couldn't”
